MG Motor India has launched the MG Windsor EV, an electric crossover utility vehicle, with a starting price of INR 9.99 Lakh.
This new addition brings MG Motor India's electric vehicle lineup to three models, including the ZS EV and Comet EV. The Windsor EV is targeted at customers seeking an affordable, family-friendly electric vehicle.
The Windsor EV features a 38kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of 331 km. Its electric motor produces 134bhp and 200Nm of torque, providing a smooth and responsive driving experience. The vehicle includes four drive modes: Eco, Eco+, Normal, and Sport.
The Windsor boasts a sleek, modern design with standout features like its signature cowl, headlamps, and 18-inch chrome alloy wheels. It also offers the largest wheelbase in its segment and elevated ground clearance.
Inside, the Windsor impresses with a premium cabin layout. It features a segment-first 15.6-inch infotainment display and an ‘Infinity View Glass Roof’ that provides a panoramic view, enhancing the cabin's open and airy feel. The vehicle also introduces ‘Aero-Lounge’ seats with a notable 135° recline angle for added comfort.
The Windsor is well-equipped with a range of features, including wireless phone mirroring, a wireless charger, a 360-degree camera, climate control with rear AC vents, connected car technology, a reclining rear seat, TPMS, six airbags, ABS with EBD, and a full LED lighting package.
As MG Motor India launches the Windsor EV in India, there is also exciting news for the Nepali market. Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd, the authorized distributor for MG Motors in Nepal, has hinted at the upcoming introduction of the MG Windsor in Nepal.
